Barrie, Ontario based recycling bin and compost container manufacturer, Busch Systems International has launched a new, more aesthetically pleasing metal recycling receptacle able to prevent cross-contamination and providing a fire resistant collection option.

According to the company, fire resistant containers are often required for many location entrance ways to meet fire codes. With the majority of recycling and waste containers made from plastic, fire resistance has been limited in the past.

Busch said that its new Evolution Series' metal construction helps provide a durable, fire resistant construction is capable of standing up to harsh outdoor elements and is equipped with internal opening dividers to avoid cross-contamination.

"The internal dividers offer the benefit of ensuring that your recyclables are kept separate and therefore maintain their value," explains Serena Brooks, sales manager for Busch Systems.

The company added that the series is available with a variety of options based on the specific stream to be collected, including the number and shape of openings required to meet the needs of any collection program.

The series is also available in four different size options.
