The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) has announced a senior representative of the Scottish government will join its board as a non-executive director.
Kim Fellows, deputy director of Waste and Pollution Division, will represent the Scottish Government. She joins DEFRA representative Neil Thornton.
Announcing their appointment, WRAP Chair Peter Stone said, ‘WRAP receives significant funding from Scotland and it is appropriate that we represent their interests at board level. This appointment will ensure WRAP continues to work effectively and is able to respond to policy developments right across the UK.’
A representative of the Welsh Assembly Government is also expected to join the WRAP board, and an appointee will be announced next year.
