Metso Recycling-Texas Shredder has introduced the new TS 69/90
shredder, a compact yet powerful shredder designed to better fit the
demands of today?s small to mid-size scrap processors in smaller and or
developing markets.
Although smaller in size, Metso say they machine is designed for
processing a complete mix of scrap metal that is typical of
larger shredders such as appliances, light scrap and loose material
including both ?peddler? scrap and car bodies.
The company believe that one of the key benefits of the TS 69/90 is its
30-50 tons (27-45 tonnes) per hour output, as well as its low initial
purchase price. Metso say that the machine is optimized for metal
shredding in developing and niche markets.
Design features include a 40-degree feed chute, dual 30-inch feed roll,
hydraulic roll drive, shredding chamber based on the proven Lindemann
ZZ175 design, spider rotor, single DC drive motor and basic electrical
controls.
In a further piece of good news for the company, Standard &
Poor´s Ratings Services has affirmed Metso?s BBB long-term credit
rating and changed the outlook from negative to stable. At the same
time the short-term corporate credit rating was raised to A-2 from A-3.
