Magnetic Recycling Equipment Manufacturer Expands in Wales

Eriez Magnetic Recycling Equipment Manufacturer Expands in Wales24 January 2012

Magnetic recycling equipment specialist, Eriez Magnetics Europe is to expand its current premises Caerphilly, South Wales with the acquisition of a 19,000 square foot (1765 square metre) building located next door to its current site.

According to the company the purchase of the building has provided it with the perfect opportunity to expand whilst keeping continuing to manufacture at a single location.

In addition to expanding manufacturing capacity, Eriez said that the move will also allow for logistical improvements at the current site.

The company, the expansion comes off the back an increased order base that has resulted in a heavier manufacturing demand and the need for more space.

Paul Fears, managing director at Eriez Europe commented: "Despite the difficult economic climate, we have been able to continually increase our manufacturing output. To facilitate this growth, it was imperative that we expanded our facility."

Eriez Magnetics design and manufacture magnetic separation, metal detection and metal sorting equipment, which has application in industries such as recycling, mineral processing and mining.

The company said that it plans to begin manufacturing in the new building in April 2012.
