Waste Management Inc has acquired City Wide Recycling LLC, a company that recycles construction and demolition waste in Milwaukee, Wisconson. Waste Management, which is North America’s largest recycler, has said that environmentally sensitive contractors are driving the market for recycling if C&D waste, plus a Wisconsin mandate forces contractors to recycle at least 50% of waste produced during projects worth $5 million or more.
