International metal recycling company Sims Metal Management has started to take delivery of over 20 Sennebogen rehandlers for work across the UK following a partnership with the manufacturer for its operations in North America and Australia.
Supplied by UK Sennbogen dealer, E. H. Hassell and Sons, the first Sennebogen 830 M material handler will come complete with 17 metres of reach, 800 litre five tyne grab, and numerous safety systems to help with the firm's metal recycling operations.
Ian Hassell, managing director of E H Hassell & Sons, said: “By working together with Sennebogen we were able to put forward a package that exceeded Sims’ requirements."
At the end of 2010 the Sims Group UK became the first specialist metals and electronics recycling company in the country to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard (see Waste Management World story).
