The German recycling machine maker Doppstadt highlighted its recently introduced DW3060 Bio Power single shaft shredder at Pollutec this year. Optimised to carry out biomass shredding, this trailer-mounted machine is powered by Mercedes-Benz OM 460 LA engine rated at 350kW (500hp).
The shredding roller used in the Bio Power model is equipped with 42 teeth, twice as much as found in the standard version of the DW 3060 with its 315kW (430hp) engine. This rotor is driven by reinforced planetary gears.
