The Italian attachments maker LGR Srl used Pollutec 2009 to highlight its latest HRP180 hydraulic rotating pulveriser and its new HMG100 hydraulically operated magnet. The company, which is based in Porzano near Brescia, was founded in 2006 by people with good knowledge of the recycling sector and it now produces an expanding range of attachments to suit demolition, waste and industrial handling applications.
The HMG100 magnet uses the hydraulic breaker circuit on an hydraulic excavator so there are no trailing electric cables. This 1050mm diameter attachment weighs 1100kg and can be used on excavators weighing 15 to 25 tonnes. LGR now has a range of four hydraulically operated magnet attachments suitable for excavators sized from 10 to 35 tonnes.
The HRP180 hydraulic rotating pulveriser is now the smallest in a six-model range that can be used on excavators weighing 18 to 83 tonnes. The newcomer weighs 1800kg, fits 18 to 22 tonnes excavators, has a jaw opening of 814mm and has bolt-on teeth on strips which can be turned through 180° to maximise operating life.
